📚 Official Server Rules

🔞 Age Restriction
• All members of the TrueNorth Roleplay community must be 18 years or older.

🎙️ Microphone (REQUIRED)
• A working, clear microphone is required at all times
• Excessive background noise, echoing, static, distortion, yelling, or loud music is prohibited
• Playing without a microphone or using text chat where voice RP is expected is not allowed
• Failure to comply may result in kicks or disciplinary action

1️⃣ Respect
• Respect, inclusivity, and kindness are mandatory
• No bullying, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• No sexual harassment, excessive name-calling, shaming, or OOC personal attacks
• Slurs of any kind (IC or OOC) are strictly prohibited
• No derogatory comments toward or over downed players

2️⃣ Respect the Staff Team
• Staff abuse, slander, or public disputes are not tolerated
• Do not argue with staff in-game
• Follow instructions and submit a Discord ticket if you disagree
• Impersonating staff is strictly prohibited
• Staff concerns must be handled through Admin or Management tickets

3️⃣ Cheating / Hacking / Exploiting
Zero tolerance policy

Prohibited actions include:
• Cheats (ESP, Aimbot, Godmode, Magic Bullet)
• Exploiting bugs or glitches
• Item or weapon duplication
• Macros, auto-clickers, or automation tools
• Abusing commands or systems for unfair advantage

➡️ Punishment: Permanent ban with no appeal

4️⃣ Mature Themes
Strictly prohibited:
• Sexual assault or harassment
• Suicide, self-harm, or threats thereof
• Any triggering or distressing content

When in doubt, do not do it and ask staff.

5️⃣ Reporting Rule Breaks
• All rule breaks must be reported via Discord tickets
• /report is for bugs or dev issues only

Tickets must include:
• In-game name
• Server ID (if known)
• Ticket type
• Date & time (with timezone)
• People involved
• Detailed description
• Video evidence (minimum 5 minutes, including 5 minutes prior to the incident)

Low-effort or vague tickets may be closed.

6️⃣ Driving Rules
• Vehicles must be used realistically
• Non-off-road vehicles may not go off-road
• Specialty vehicles (drag / sprint / drift) must remain on appropriate roads
• Max passengers: 1 inside + 1 in trunk
• No passengers on bikes
• You may not drive while carrying another player

7️⃣ Safe Zones
• No hostile actions in Safe Zones
• You may not initiate hostility and retreat into a Safe Zone
• Dragging players out of Safe Zones is prohibited
• Provoking or baiting hostile reactions inside Safe Zones is prohibited
• All whitelisted businesses are Safe Zones at all times

8️⃣ Breaking Character
• OOC communication is prohibited unless staff explicitly states otherwise
• Interactions with staff remain IC unless stated
• Do not break character to address rule breaks — report them instead

9️⃣ Character Crossing (Cousin Rule)
• Characters may not share knowledge, assets, or benefits
• Characters may not interact, assist, or protect each other
• Violations are considered meta-gaming and may result in wipes or bans

🔟 Meta Gaming
Using OOC information for IC actions is prohibited, including:
• Discord or stream intel
• Acting on unseen or unheard information
• Revenge after respawn without IC knowledge

1️⃣1️⃣ Powergaming
Unrealistic use of mechanics to gain advantage is prohibited, including:
• Camera abuse
• Shift punching
• Menu abuse
• Forced revives
• Hospital abuse
• Automated /do binds
• Safe Zone baiting

If unsure — don’t do it.

1️⃣2️⃣ Fear RP / Valuing Your Life
• Value your life realistically
• Comply when threatened at gunpoint
• No reckless actions or intentional crashes
• Limited exceptions are staff discretion only

1️⃣3️⃣ Cop Fear & Police Rules
• Police must be feared and respected
• Meaningful interaction is required before lethal force
• Meaningful interaction requires clear verbal RP or escalation — not silence, drive-bys, or instant gunfire
• Cop baiting is strictly prohibited
• Dirty cops are not tolerated
• PD items may never be sold or given away

1️⃣4️⃣ New Life Rule (NLR)

🚑 Downed but Alive (Able to Crawl)
• If downed but able to crawl and taken to hospital, you may remember events prior to being downed
• Injuries must still be roleplayed

💀 Flatback (Complete Death)
• If fully flatbacked, you forget everything related to the incident
• You may not return to the scene or act on prior knowledge

🚓 Police Flatback Rules
• Must report to the police station
• May not self-dispatch, respond to old alerts, or return to the scene
• Must wait for new dispatch, alerts, radio traffic, or backup assignment

Additional:
• Witness info may only be used if not flatbacked
• You may not identify attackers while downed
• If 20 minutes pass without EMS/Fire, memory is lost permanently

1️⃣5️⃣ Criminal Crews & Organizations
• Crews: Max 6 members
• Organizations: Max 20 members, whitelist required
• Must be registered via Discord
• Exceeding limits may result in removals, wipes, or disbanding

1️⃣6️⃣ Roleplaying Injuries
• Injuries must be roleplayed realistically
• Use /me to communicate injuries to EMS
• No instant recovery after revive
• No respawning during active RP

1️⃣7️⃣ Hostile Roleplay Restrictions
• Intense conflict limited with 3 or fewer police
• Store/bank robberies require 4+ police
• EMS may not be robbed
• No hostile RP in Safe Zones

1️⃣8️⃣ RDM (Random Deathmatch)
• No violence without meaningful prior RP
• Killing without interaction is prohibited

1️⃣9️⃣ VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)
• Vehicles may not be used as weapons
• Low-speed PITs allowed only to disable vehicles
• Running players over is prohibited except as a last-resort escape

2️⃣0️⃣ “Must Win” Attitude
• Winning is not more important than RP
• Toxic, griefing, or RP-ruining behavior is prohibited
• Repeated must-win behavior may be punished as Fail RP

2️⃣1️⃣ Real Money Trading (RMT)
• Trading in-game assets for real-world money is prohibited

2️⃣2️⃣ Robbing & Scamming
• Only gangs may rob rival gangs
• Civilians may not be robbed
• EMS and PD are off-limits
• Scams capped at $100,000 total value

2️⃣3️⃣ Combat Logging
• Disconnecting to avoid RP is prohibited
• Applies to chases, arrests, and conflicts

2️⃣4️⃣ Continuity of Roleplay
• Arrested players must surrender again after restarts
• Going “in your head” does not pause RP — go to a safe location

2️⃣5️⃣ Advertising
• No promotion of other servers or services
• Indirect advertising is also prohibited
• Discord roles may be removed

2️⃣6️⃣ External Discords & Forums
• Staff must have access to all RP-related servers
• Failure to comply may result in action against the group

2️⃣7️⃣ Untouchable Stashes
• No large quantities of finished drugs in untouchable stashes
• Boss stashes may not contain illegal contraband

2️⃣8️⃣ Killing EMS
• EMS are neutral and may not be harmed
• Violations result in immediate punishment

2️⃣9️⃣ Fail RP / Low Quality RP
• No tolerance for poor or disruptive RP
• Includes RDM, VDM, harassment, exploiting, targeting
• Punishments include strikes, warns, kicks, or bans

3️⃣0️⃣ Business & Home MLO Transactions
• Businesses and MLOs may not be traded for money
• All transfers require staff approval via ticket
